Nothing Unusual, Nothing's Changed
Just a little older, that's all

And so I'm back from my trip down south, to the land of the Merlion that is Singapore, and it was an interesting trip. Went down on the Aeroline bus, and it was comfortable, though a little bumpy, and overall pretty okay. There was a toilet on board, but for what it's worth, it wasn't much of a toilet, more like a glorified broom closet. Heck even my closet is bigger. Hahaha. But yeah, whatever. We left at about eight in the morning, and arrived in Singapore at about one or so. Five hour bus trip, and I forgot my damned FIFA08 CD. So I had to make do with my iPod. Thank god I had that on me.
Our bus
The highway (Our driver had to stop for a bit. Took a shit, IIRC)
Took a cab from the hub, or whatever the place is called, to the hotel. Checked in, and the first thing we saw when we entered our room, was a fucking open condom packet. Now what the hell?! We were like, damn! If they missed that, what else did the miss? Damn damn! But aside from that, it was a pretty okay room. Quite comfortable, in a sense, and pretty damn cold.
Our street
Our hotel (Yeah it looks sleazy, and to be honest, it probably was. Had a pretty receptionist though. She was wowsome. Hahaha)
We went for a walk after that, visited Sim Lim, a place somewhat like Lowyat, but in my opinion way better. For one, the camera stores there were way more interesting, and thanks to Ershad, I was poisoned with mice. Yeah, mice. Gaming mice, and all sorts of other gaming accessories. Never realised my mouse was so sucky. But we didn't get anything, since it was only the first day, and we wanted to catch a movie.
Sim Lim at Night
They had this in front of Cathay. Cool.
Went over to Cathay and watched the Kingdom. Was a pretty good movie, a thinking movie, and a pretty powerful ending. After that we went back to the hotel, and that's the end of day 1.

Day 2, and 3, was pretty much the same, in that we walked around, looked at a few shops, and walked around some more. One thing I observe in walking around in Singapore, is that their air is more polluted compared to ours. Well, from what I felt, and from what I remember in KL. I got sick the first day we were there, no thanks to the taxis, buses, lorries and whatnot spewing out diesel fumes. Ugh! Couple that with the dreadful weather down there, and gosh I got one hell of a sore throat. Now I'm not dissing the place, it must be heaven to some people, but I think I went down there on the wrong day, in the wrong seasons, with the wrong condition, and got the wrong thing.
Ugh x 2!
So anyway. Visited a couple of malls. Got a few things. Walked a few thousand million brazillian kilometers. And went back pretty satisfied.
This place has like, a shitload of stuff. Like a HUGE kedai runcit.
And we passed by this hotel, Grandma-X. Wow.
Gaming controller, check!
What's a controller without a game, so.
Game, check!
And I was feeling sort of underdressed. So, Stussy shirt, check!
And my feet were pretty uncomfortable. Nike Free, check!
Finally, what's life without music?
And I leave you with the words of The Carpenters
On the day that you were born
and the angels got together
And decided to create a dream come true
So they sprinkled moon dust
in your hair of gold
And starlight in your eyes of blue.
