Subway Makes Me Nervous, People Pushing Me Too Far
I've been having difficulties keeping to myself
Feelings and emotions better left up on the shelf
Animals and children tell the truth, they never lie
Which one is more human
There's a thought, now you decide
The Animal Song - Savage Garden

While a lot of my friends are enjoying the CNY Hols, I'm stuck back with college. Oh gosh, wowee, whoop dee doo. Hahaha. In all honesty, it's not that bad. Monday was pretty interesting, watched The Illusionist, which turned out to be a pretty good movie.
Then later that night, I went to Mel's apartment place to lepak with her friends. It was a pretty good night, though there was one point where I felt totally lost. Haha. But yeah, real fun. There were a few pics taken that night, but I'll leave that up to miss Mel C to post up, if she deems it necessary (God I hope not). Reached home at about 4 something, with a growling stomach. Thought I was going to sleep it off, but then decided to fix myself a cup of noodles. Ended up finishing a newly bought book (WTF 49.90 finished in a day), sleeping at about 5.30-ish.
Then woke up at 11, because I arranged with Kin Meng to meet at that time and head on to the zoo. Turns out I could've slept more, which I did, since he had to do something first. Ended up leaving home at about 2, and arrived at the zoo at about 2.45, which was not bad. Spent quite a long time in there, maybe round 3 and 1/2 hours. Haha. Got a comment about our cameras as well. Whooopee!
First real photo shooting we did when we got in were with the birds. Haha. The giraffes don't count, I guess, cos we weren't that interested. Well, me, at least.
Then the birds started flying, and we tried out some bird-in-flight photos. Was pretty fun, and damn I hope I will get the chance to do birding one day. Ohhhh 300 2.8, where fort art thou?
And my keeper!
Then we headed on to the lions and tigers part. Was pretty dull when we first passed it, though on the second trip past it we got to see a tiger jump up and pose for a bit. Haha

Stopped by the Kandang Kambing (Goat's den, or whatever it is called) and saw a pretty cute little kid (baby goat, yeah, not human kid) jumping and playing about. Pretty hard to shoot it though. All I got was a shot of it eating.
Then we walked by the Savannah area, which wasn't really interesting. Animals looked dull and bored. Save for a couple of zebras that were having some quality time together. Mentang mentang V-day is coming. Hahaha

Walked on and on, exploring quite a bit, but it was getting late, and the zoo was kind of closing too. Visited the monkeys and whatnot, penguins (I didn't see any), and many other empty exhibits. Hahaha. Next time, we'd go earlier. Here's the last shot that I deem worthy of deviantART status.

And that's about it. Was spending some time doing my assignment, and also playing around with the photos. But yeah. Tuesday, was a day well spent.
