Larger Than Lifesize, Wondersome

We smiled so bright the sun went down
Rose above the maddening crowd
We lit the streets with the sweetest glow
We held the globe and made it turn
Wandered through the universe
The men of science observed through telescopes

All for love, we become

Larger than lifesize, wondersome.

Lifesize - A Fine Frenzy

Yeah, I've upgraded to OSX Leopard. And it's pretty cool! The installation and whatnot took a relatively short time, and the new stuff is pretty neat. Eye-candy, but still useful.

Stacks - Useful to quickly access stuff in my most used folders.

Spaces - Really damn useful for organizing my work spaces. Gosh, no more cluttered desktops.

I have no idea what this is called, but I love it! It instantly previews the stuff in my folders, in the iTunes album view style. Plus I can quickly preview it in full size without running the app needed. Wheeee!

Oh, I also have a .Mac account now. My dad signed me up for it, since he said it would be extremely useful. So I now get 5gb of online storage space, and also a new email address, which I guess I'd use for um, more serious matters.

It's been an interesting few days, since I last updated. We celebrated Divya's 21st birthday the other night, and it was pretty fun, though there were a couple of incidents that might've marred the event. But not enough to totally spoil the night. Plus, the ending of the night was what I would call enjoyable, to say the least. Moon was pretty full and big that night too.

While we were heading back home, I kept on going "Holy crap" every time I looked at it. There was one time, the clouds were fully covering the moon and I was pretty disappointed, since I didn't get to look at it, again. Then after a while I looked back out the window and the clouds had gone, and the moon was shining bright. When I exclaimed this out loud, Arthur, being the oh-so-smart person that he is, stated, "Oh, that's because the moon ate the clouds."

I burst out laughing. Laughed like a completely crazy idiot, while Mel went WTF repeatedly. I totally didn't expect him to come up with something like that.

Arrived back safe and sound at about four a.m., and went to sleep at about five-ish. I think. Then I was woken up at about nine-ish because I had to go for a function at my grandparents' place. Went there at about eleven-thirty (Yeah, I know, why did I wake up at nine, eh?) and stayed until about six in the evening. Oh gosh was it a tiring day. Both mentally and physically. But it was also pretty interesting, caught up with some cousins and chatted the day away.

That night, the moon was out, and I thought, "Okay, since it's been a while since I shot the moon, might as well do it tonight." So I went out and took a few shots of it, though I still haven't perfected the art of moon-photography. Plus, I need a longer lens to be able to get bawls-dropping photos of the moon. Hahaha.

The Moon!

Then Sunday came and went, celebrated a cousin's 22nd Birthday at San Francisco Steak House (sp?). Pretty good food and stuff. Though my dessert was disappointing. I asked for ice-cream with strawberries around it, but all I got was a measly slice of a strawberry. Gah! But whatever. It was good enough, I suppose.

And today in college, we did a pretty interesting thing. Jason asked us to come up with a short skit of about five minutes, and it was about person A witnessing person B stealing someone's handphone. We had fun coming up with ideas and whatnot, and we also managed to get an eight for a grade, which was good. Then we had a class on how to write a resume. So yeah, college came and went as well.

Rained quite heavily just now. Power went off a few times, so I got to continue reading a book. Then, after the rain stopped, I decided to head out into the garden to see what I can shoot. Kin Meng asked why I haven't updated my blog, and I replied "Nothing interesting to blog about". He asked me to go take some photos, and I replied "Nothing to shoot". So yeah, I decided to give it a go.

Mmmmm, so yeah, that was today.

I actually had a pretty long rant that I typed out before this, though I really had my doubts about publishing it, since it is rather nasty, I guess. Haha. Oh well.

Tomorrow, is going to be an interesting day. And night, if all goes well. :)
