Look Beyond the Light, Where You Least Expect
Yet after all that I've been through, I have to say that I will be ending this year on a positively high note. More so than any other year before.
But somehow, I believe, it may simply be you.
And, in response to your post, I shall put in a little bit of my own.
The heartbeats that you felt, I believe I shared them. The nervousness, the awkwardness, the hesitance, everything that you felt, I shared. Uncharted territory, for both, you and I. And at the end, it got us both smiling like idiots (doof in my case). Smiling like there isn't a care in the world.
At least, that's what it felt for me.
I'm sure this is barely satisfactory, for an end of year post, so hold on.
I'm sure there's more to come.
On my skin with kisses
In the rain, hold my head and ease my pain
In a world that's gone insane

A Day To Remember
Thank you. So. Very. Much. :)
So, er, yeah, here are mine. Jangan marah jika tidak best. :)
These were taken at the Bunga Raya Park.
And these, at the Orchid Park.
The stuff we do for photos. I got my lens wet. Hahaha.
And we even managed a short portrait (?) session. Hahahaha. Wowsome!

And lastly, we went to the Lake Gardens main park.
Nothing much, but loads of geese shots.
Oh, but first, me in action, in the forest. Photo courtesy of Kinz
And that, is that.
More photos, hopefully, up later. Still loads more!

And If Your Heart Stops Beating, I'll Be Here Wondering
The ending of your life.
I'm horny, and I go jingle jingle jingle.
Thanks to you, Mel Chen.
And I snap photos too. :)
Thank you so very much.
Hahaha.
Oh yeah, I do mean it. :)
Sleep eluded me for the best part of an hour after completing The Mephisto Club by Tess Gerritsen. I can't recall the last time a book caused me so much trouble when it came to sleep. Could be that I just cannot handle stuff like that, but I prefer to think that the author was fantastic. She managed to keep me turning page after page, right to the end. Though I have to say the ending was somewhat.. anticlimactic. Good read, nonetheless. Can't wait to get more of her books. Money well spent, I say! ;)
Us, exchanging gifts, sort of. Actually we drew pieces out of a box to see who got what.
Us, with our own gifts.
And some people were playing UNO, of all things, of all times.
Today I headed out with Ershad to the Gardens and Sunway Pyramid. Actually we first planned to head to the Gardens, but instead of turning into the parking lots of MidValley Megamall, we turned onto some weird road, that, after following misleading signs, and going through three different tolls, led us all the way to Sunway Pyramid. So we thought, what the hell, lets go check it out, since Pyramid 2 was new, anyway. Spent bout half-an-hour looking for parking, that full it was. (What the hell, right? I mean, it's Christmas! Don't you people like, have a life? Go and celebrate or something with your family. Not in a shopping mall. Haha)
Walked around, explored a few shops, and I bought myself a pair of shoes. Yeah, another pair. Two this month, though this was not that expensive either. Puts my Nikes to shame, really.

And then we headed on to the Gardens. From one end, to the other, just to go back to the beginning again. Pretty interesting. This time we turned into the right place, and managed to get a spot without too much difficulty. Checked out the shops, most notable are Brickboy Toys and Borders. Those two places are the best! But I couldn't find the books I was looking for, but oh well. One day. You can't hide from me foreverrr! Then after a while, we decided to leave, and we spent some time looking for the car. Hahaha. Couldn't remember which floor it was on, so we went down, up, and then some. Managed to find it in the end, but, the pressure was there, you know? Like, they said there was a 20 minute grace-period before your ticket.. um.. expires, I guess. So yeah, pressure.
Plus, what the hell is a grace-period? I mean, do we need charity period? I mean, come on. It's bad enough that it's period. :P
And lastly. happy Christmas to all, and a happy new year too!
*PS: Edited so that my picture is the first thing to hit you. Nyahahaha

I Didn't Mean To Fall In Love, But I Did

Oh Yeah, I'll Tell You Something, I Think You'll Understand
But, I managed to escape the depression, the gloom, the um, badness associated with "bad" results. Thanks to you, yeh? Guess it worked both ways, though maybe I was more, um, okay, in a sense, compared to you in terms of.. this? Anyway, I'm glad I took your mind off things for a bit. Now let me see you in those blue pants, damnit! Hahaha. :)
:)
Went out to take some flower photos, since it's been a while since I did that. Used the 70-200 instead of the 17-70. Not bad, I like the DOF that I can get.

Had It Been Another Day, I Might've Looked the Other Way
As it is I'll dream of her,
Tonight, di-di-di-di'n'di.
Thanks for the time yesterday, and don't worry about being late. It was nothing. Gave me time to er.. bond with my iPod. And Quadrapop. Haha :)
Today, I feel / felt / am feeling so lazy. Lethargic. Tired. Zonked. Could be the weather. So to counter that, decided to head out to the garden, just to check out what there was to photograph, since my garden seems to be sorta cool in that sense, there's always a bug or two, though they're usually spiders.
Found a couple of spiders, and a dragonfly. Pretty productive, considering the weather conditions.
Was experimenting with different lighting angles, and this made it look so creepy.
Same spider, but with better lighting IMO.
And this one was an UGLY MOFO! :S
And it was pretty hard to photograph too.
*Image removed / moved, so click HERE to view it.
And the dragonfly.
And ever wondered what the ass of a dragonfly might look like?
Well, maybe you should look in a mirror? Hahahaha. Kidding ;)
And my workhorse lens. Must say it's the best thing to have on my camera, for me.
That's pretty much it for the day(s).
Mum wants me to get a haircut soon, so yeah.
And results are said to be available as soon as Friday.
Ooooh boy!
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung.
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game
It's easy.
All you need is love :)

She's the Centre of His Whole World
So anyway. My dad invited me to tag along with him to the match. I agreed, though on one condition: I get to take photos, and I'd get a good spot. True to his word, I got full access to the pitch and whatnot, though I was kinda shy / scared to walk around, so I stayed in the middle most of the time. Got quite nice shots, and it was an interesting experience. Wouldn't mind doing this again.
Photos! Here's some shots that I got:
The winning goal
And some other shots.
During the prize giving: My Dad, Dato' Farid and one of the kids.
And then there was the press conference as well. The Japanese dudes.
And lastly, a group photo of everyone. Looks slightly off at this size though :S
And that is all. For this one. For today.
As for tonight, I do have to thank you, for a pleasant evening, night, and morning, that helps me put to rest many, many, many things. :)
What if?

Everytime I see Your Bubbly Face
A glimpse!
We went to this place called de Touche, which I assume is the agency name as well. Met this girl / woman called Tasha, if I'm not mistaken. Real nice, real tall, real cool. We were there somewhat early, so we lingered downstairs and chatted about stuff, and turns out she was from KDU as well. And my dad got to talking about photography and how I really am into it, and she asked me if I would be interested in maybe trying out as an intern for them, maybe for a week or two, just to see what it is like. Ah, pretty awesome. Maybe.
Anyway, after a while the rest of the people who were supposed to see the promos also turned up, and we headed upstairs to check them out. It was pretty interesting, listening to them being EXTREMELY ANAL about the promos, about budget and timing constraints, and just about everything else. And it was funny hearing people call my dad Encik Azhar. Hahaha
The staircase area was pretty funky.
So they had to approve some promos for TV, both in English and Malay, radio promos, also in English and Malay, print ads, and also the website. Really, it was like going back and doing my copy writing / advertising subjects all over again. Plus, I found out, being anal is a good thing in this business. Little bits can and do come into play.
People of power deciding over some important matters.
Oh and I saw the invoice of something that my dad had to approve, and the header read McCann and Erickson. Cool. Apparently they have been working with TV3 on Gangstarz since Season 1. Awesome.
They had these old projector-things, with film! Cool gila!
So yeah. I wouldn't mind working in an ad agency actually, looking at what they do, though I'm guessing it's gonna be very hectic and hard trying to keep up with expectations.
:D

You Would've Said "I Love You"
So yeah, thinking. About stuff. Well, my usual stuff. And it didn't help that my [ :( x 1000 ] playlist on iTunes was playing. Ahhhhh! Anyway, thoughts about how my life has progressed, how things have come round, how I'm going to be bumming around for the next 14 days, how I can't wait for college, how I can't wait for this Saturday, how I can't wait to be better and not sick, and many many more.
What If?
Amazing how much my mind could process before suddenly popping off to sleep. Hahaha
Maybe this will contribute to the conversations that I hope I will be having. It should make me talk more, for one thing. Since somebody said I don't talk as much. Though I think I can make up for it in other ways, no? ;)
Shoes! Hah! Finally bought myself a pair of shoes. Been a while, eh? Well down in Singapore I got myself this pair of white Nike Frees, from the Caol Uno Pack, if I'm not mistaken. 99SGD, or roughly RM230. Ah, pretty decent.

More Spiders here. I'm sorry if they do creep you out, but I'm having trouble looking for better photographic subjects, and also I seem to really like macro insect photography. Something satisfying about finding a bug after 30 minutes of searching, and getting down and dirty trying to take a photo.
This particular spider was found after toiling round in my garden for close to half an hour, looking through all sorts of plants and whatnot. It just stopped raining, and I was pretty bored, and not that sick yet.
Check out the razor thin DOF! Wow! And this was at f22.
And here's a bonus picture. Saw this little guy a few times, but this is one of the few shots that I actually liked.
*Bigger pictures of the spider can be seen on my DeviantART -> Here!
If you can't find me then you can't find love
If you close your eyes then will finally see
That you're already here with me.
