You Think This Too Eventually Will Pass

If this is love
Then I don't wanna know what isn't
I won't say another (no, no) word
If this is love (ooh ooh)
Then I'm about to hit on this
Were both going to get hurt if this is love
If This Is Love - The Saturdays
See-saw, rollercoaster,
Hee-haw, I hate my little toaster.
We saw an emo little monster,
But realized it was me in the mirror.
Life's been like that. Hahaha. Baru what, tak sampai 24 hours since the previous post, and this pops up? Sigh. What's the world coming to, then, eh?
Anyway, I woke up late today, at 11 am actually. Buk-bak-duk-chak, went to the office at 11.30. Reached there, and waited for a while, then went down for breakfast / lunch with the rest. Hahaha. No wonder I love work. So yeah, then later on I was told that I was to come up with a 20-30 second promo for One In A Million. Wheet! Bestnyer, so wish me luck on that. Hopefully I can live up to their (apparently very high) expectations.

Spent most of my time in the office reading, actually. I was quite absorbed in my book. Managed to get 400 pages done, which is essentially one book, though this particular one has over a thousand. Then I got a duster thrown at me because of a smart-ass remark. Hahahaha. Funny shit, actually.
Joyce was supposed to digitize some tapes, so she was looking for a firewire port to plug in the deck, but couldn't find any free hole. Then she asked Shiva to help. The following dialogue ensued:
Joyce : Shiva, can help ar? Takde lobang la for this cable.
Shiva : The back of the Mac?
Joyce : Full lah.
Shiva : Let me see.
*Shiva proceeds to crawl down and look behind the Mac, and plugged in the cable into a port.*
Joyce : Eh, I thought penuh?
Shiva : Got one lah, I cabut another cable. Tu tak pakai.
Joyce : Oh, thanks.
Me : Joyce, leave it to Shiva to find a hole in the back la.
*I burst out in laughter*
*Shiva proceeds to chuck the whiteboard duster at me*
Crazy Indian fella! Hahahahahaha! :P Was all in jest, though.
Then today we celebrated Zeb's birthday. Fuish tunggu pukul 12. Hung out at some mamak at Centre point until round 11-ish, then we headed on to Long Bar. Lepak, talked and all that guff, then suddenly "Happy Birthday" played over the sound system. And Zeb was surprised. Wheeee! Pictures and shouts and laughs aplenty.
Gambars!

Zeb and his present :D

Step 1 : Blow candles.

Step 2 : Cut cake.

Step 3 : Jaga kau, kek ni nak kena your face!

Nah! Hahahaha!
*We were at the foosball table, Shiva and I on one side, Kiedd and Lea on the other*
Kiedd : So macam mana team?
Me : Me and Shiva satu team, korang satu team la.
Kiedd : Okay.
Shiva : Where you wanna play? Attack?
Me : Takpe, I main belakang.
*We all looked at each other for an awkward moment, and burst out laughing*
Kiedd : Alamak, apa benda ni main belakang? Ish.
Gosh, what a night of bullshit and laughs. Hahahaha.
"And so, I love you. What else counts in this world, one might wonder."

All I Can Say Is That My Life Is Pretty Lame

I like watchin' the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
But it's not sane, It's not sane
I just want some one to say to me
I'll always be there when you wake
Ya know I'd like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and I'll have it made
No Rain - Blind Melon
We celebrated Adele's birthday the other day at Fridays. Was quite fun seeing a couple of faces that I haven't seen in yonks. Well, not really, but whatever. It was a fun night. Photos!

Happy birthday :)

I wasn't too happy, actually.

Thought of suicide.

Adele, Kevin, Divya, Jasmine

They were promoting Allens...

But didn't mention the side-effects, which may include disjointed elbows and retardation of the facial muscles ;p

Even we succumbed to it. Damn women and their marketing strategies.

Even after we stopped, the effects lingered.

And she went home laughing.
So yeah, that's it for that day. I've got another post up my sleeve. Or is it up my left trouser leg? ;)

So Many Things That I Wanna Say, You Know I Like My Girls A Little Bit Older

I just wanna use your love tonight
I don't wanna lose your love tonight
Your Love - Outfield

I don't wanna lose your love tonight
Your Love - Outfield

Some coughing and a sore-throat aside (and stress, oh let's not forget that), last few days were pretty much very fun. Went for a small photo-outing with Kin Meng at the Orchid park on Thursday. Then we surprised, or tried to surprise, Mel on her birthday, then went out that night. Then yesterday went to celebrate Marissa's 22nd birthday, and after that went to Eckydontknowwhatitscalled to watch Man Utd draw with Tottenham.
Orchid Park
I drove there (Whoa!) with Kin Meng and it looked like it would rain while we were there. We managed to squeeze in about an hour and a half of shooting before it really started to pour. Then we had some Amazing Race down the slope of the entrance, laughing like idiots (Maybe just me), and entertaining a couple of tourists.

Somehow, the lilies / lotus / whatever will always get the most attention. Hmmmmm..

Mel's Birthday
Was supposed to surprise her in college, but I sorta screwed it by taking the elevator wtf hahaha. Then in 1u there was supposed to be another surprise, but it wasn't really pulled off properly as well. Haha. This girl is pretty hard to surprise kot. Then later at night, we finally managed it, surprising her after her dinner with the parents. Headed on to Maison and then to AC. Ended up reaching home at about 5 am. With a pretty sore throat and some coughing. But it was worth every bit. Gambar (s) ? Well..
Marissa's 22nd, and a draw
Went on over to Ershad's place to celebrate the birthday, which was pretty fun. Listened to and shared lame jokes over food. Really WTF type of jokes, to be honest. Leaves you literally speechless and blank.
At bout 10.30 or so I headed off and went to pick up Kin Meng and joined the Subangkrew at TTDI again, to watch Man Utd v Tottenham. Was a pretty emotional and fun time. Shouting and screaming at the tv. Hahahaha. When the equaliser was scored, fuhh.. Bising macam menang World Cup.
*Edit:
Went for a run just now, for the 3km thing.
Gah, not bad la.

And that's it.
Hopefully Monday would be one to remember. ;)

One Dream, One Soul, One Prize, One Goal

One Golden Glance of What Should Be.
It's a Kind of Magic.
It's a Kind of Magic.
An update has been long overdue, but truth be told nothing much happened.
Oh before going any further, I remember promising pictures of the house lit up at night.
So yeah, here.

And the day before raya I headed over to my grandparent's house to check up on them.
Actually I just tagged along with my dad.
They have lights too!

And while walking around the compound, I couldn't help myself.

So yeah.
Raya this year was way better than expected, and I had quite some fun this time, compared to last year.
Same basic hoo haa on the first day, went to my grandparent's house after the Raya prayers.
But Before going out, took some pictures.
Though we totally forgot about our own family picture.
Hahaha. First time.
Lisa and my Mum

Dad and Mum

Then we ate, chat, ate, chat, and took pictures.

Yeah that's the first day.
Then second day I stayed home while my parents and sister went to Melaka and the southern states to visit some relatives.
Then "third" day had some guests over.
Some relatives, and friends.
Though I only ajak-ed a few friends (Kinz, Simon, Patrick), mostly because I didn't really feel like entertaining a lot of people.
Haha. Yeah, meanie, I know.
Taken by Pat. And crap, I notice the distortion at the edges. Haha. Daymn.

So basically that was it, visits and food, though I didn't do the visiting.
Then yesterday went out to Arthur's place to celebrate Jovie's birthday.
Happy Birthday!
Sorry I didn't get you anything. :|
Taken by Arthur with my cam, I was too busy playing games. Haha.
Bimbo Posse, anyone?

Actually the pic shows how much I need a proper flash that can Tilt and Swivel.
Haha. Maybe then there wouldn't be obvious um.. oilyness..
And a couple of random photos.
Had my 70-200 on and was playing around, and Lisa was just sitting there.
So yeah.
Not as sharp as I would like, but then it was more of a quick snap than a planned pose shot.

And here's Grubbs. Also with the 70-200. And Flash.

Woooo that should be enough to last at least a month eh?
Hahaha. :D
