Web design was fun today, I'm loving the lecturers here. We had this pie-chart detailing the percentage of work put in by a web designer, and only 15% of web-designing is actual designing. He went on to point out that roughly 60% of the time we'll spend trying to figure out how to "get the bastard to work with Internet Fucking Explorer". Hahahah!

Just now there were a bunch of people playing with fire in my area, so I grabbed my camera and went to see what they were up to. They were, um, I'm not sure of the term, "Fire-Spinners"? Whatever, they were twirling balls and a staff (as in stick, not people) on fire. Pretty damn cool. So yeah, got a few photos. Some better than others. I'll only put up a few though, as they're the ones that are really aesthetically good looking.

Then me dad decided to drop me a call on Skype, and it turned out that the whole family (the ones in PJ, at least) were at my place for some dessert, so yeah, we caught up. Had a fun time, chatting and talking nonsense. Managed to see Snowball (rindu gila, she's been in my life for a damn long time)
So yeah, as I was saying, photography ain't dead for me. Haha. Today was one of the few times I went out with my camera, and I had fun. Kept getting asked about the price of the thing, which I'm always reluctant to say, so I just said "a lot". Hahah. But they were happy with the photos, and that's what matters, aye ;)
Ironically, at the end of the night, we had our umpteenth fire-alarm thingy go off. Bet the firefigthers make a shitload of money, as flat residents get fined $1800 per false alarm. Imagine that. I'd hate to cause a false one, let alone a real one.

So yeah, today's been a real great day. I also found out a few things that really brought a smile to my face, and I can't wait for it to happen. I must say though, this is way earlier than I planned to blog. Thought I'd wait a few days, maybe a week, but I'm just so happy and whoopee! Hahaha

Befitting, really, the song choice. I enjoyed the first Live Show of OIAM3, even if I watched it in the confines of my room on my computer screen. The opening and ending song, fucking brought goosebumps to me, though it could be emotional attachment I have to it. But I have to say, it touched me beyond belief. Hahah. Shit I'm such a sap. But I know the hard work that was put in to make it, so I appreciate everything of the show, even if the audioman screwed up (Hahahah! You can't replace meeee! :P)

So tonight, I hung out with a few friends, and we had the time of our lives trying to find out what the capital of some certain country is. We went round and round and round just talking random countries. Then we went and watched the Arsenal match, and I would've stayed for the Man Utd match, but was too knackered. Btw, I'm in love with the British accent! Oh my god! I'm such a moppet. Hahahaha

They all thought I was bleeding 16 or something, though they reasoned that since I was in uni, I must be around 18, so they guess I was 18. Whoa. I look that young? Hahaha. Pros and cons come with it I guess, and when I told them I was 20 going on 21, they were like, "No way! You look so young!" Haha. Mmmmm..
And so the night ends with me doing the dishes that I promised to do, and yeah. Tomorrow, I might shoot a basketball game, and go to the beach. Depends on when I wake up, I guess. Till then,

Went out with Andrew a.k.a Freakass again last night, since he was leaving for Malaysia already, so we hung out at Fast Eds, and I think I'm in love with the mushrooms there. Gah! Boleh makan non-stop (which is very dangerous as the bill can run up very fast). Hahah. But so far, I'm surviving on food and stuff. Haven't been overspending.. much. Books, still yet to buy, looking for some options.

Past few days were interesting. Found out that I'd be playing around with shooting and editing, amongst other things, for my Intro to Screen and Sound Production, and my Documentary classes. Wheee! I think it's meant to be, I'm a production kid. One thing though, they're using Adobe Premier Pro, which is slightly different to FCP, but whatever. I can adept, and I'll be rocking the edit suites!
Btw, the song really reminds me of Nicole, Joyce and Anusha jumping around in the edit suite. Hahahah. Was a fun sight.

I'm starting to like my little village, and the people here. There's the right amount of freedom and responsibilities to let me live. I'm free to do whatever I want, yet there are responsibilities to keep me from flying too high. Hahah. But it's all fun, even the laundry and dish-washing. Flat-mates are awesome people too.
I've yet to really walk around with the camera, and today was just some small walking, since I had to meet up with some people. So yeah, it'll take time, but I'll bring photography back. It ain't gone, babe ;)

I was outside, waiting for Andrew a.k.a Freakass to fetch me and go out, and I couldn't help but look at the stars up in the sky, and think of you, and how your smile always seem to light up your eyes, or how that impish grin can bring so much joy to a situation, how your laughter seems to brighten up a room, and how your eyes captivate me.
I sound like a fool desperately in love, so I guess that must be it, though I'm not sure if it's love or mere infatuation. All I know is I can't stop thinking of you.
Went out to meet Weng Fatt at Curtin today, first time on the bus and thank god I got it right, so we went to Makan-makan, and chatted and caught up, and set Sunday for us to go see some sights with some friends. Yay! Hahaha. Adala kaki Malaysia kat sini, at least.
And also we went out, me, Andrew and his friend, Faizal ( sp? ) at night, and met up with some of his other friends, and we had some great fun, and tomorrow we're probably going out again :D
Tomorrow is also the day my classes start, so whoooo! Nervous, but looking forward to it as well, so yeah. I can't wait for classes to start, so that I have something to do, and I'm also contemplating on buying a guitar, to maybe pass the time, learn to play the damned thing. Maybe when I get back I can serenade you. Mmmmm, that'd be interesting.
Can't wait, I'm anticipating the Japanese dinner. Hahaha.

Despite all the positives that's been happening, I find myself struggling to justify coming here now and then. Maybe it's the lack of activity, since classes haven't started, and maybe it's because I'm not used to the life here yet, the people around me, and the way things work.
I know I can pull through though, and I know I can excel, and the little things help, though I never thought they would. I know that no matter how horrible I feel when I wake up, one look at my desk, one glance at the wallpaper of my desktop, one glimpse of those eyes, and my day will start out right.
Doesn't mean it'll end right, though. I went to bed with a busted lip from playing football. Hahaha.

First of, the acoustic version of the song is awesome. Though a little fast, it still manages to have that, I don't know how to describe, that acoustic feeling when you listen to a song. I can listen to it for hours on end, and really appreciate the lyrics, even if it gets repetitive.
So anyway, I'm here in Perth, Australia. Journey here wasn't too bad, flight was pretty dull, though the sending off was amazing, thanks to the bunch of people that turned up, and especially to that one particular one. I'm going to miss you guys a lot, and you, Lisa, and also Mum. Place takes some getting used to, and I think I can do that pretty quick. Met a few people already, and some familiar faces too.
So I've settled some things, but still need to settle other things, and that's only happening on Monday as they don't work on Saturdays and Sundays, so yeah. Been going around getting what I need to get, and I haven't yet stayed in my room, I'm bunking with my dad for the time being, since I still need to get some stuff, but tomorrow onwards I'll be in my room. So whoopee.
