You're All That's On My Mind
One thought of you is all it takes to leave the rest of the world behind
I'm so sorry for leaving this place for quite a while.
10 days seemed to pass in just a blink of an eye.
Assignments came, none went.
Work just keeps piling up, though I'm pretty sure that's due largely to my procrastinating.
So um, not much has happened.
I've bought / got a few things in the past few days, but I'll post them up later.
But I can say that my camera kit is almost complete enough (waiting for my tripod mount for the 70-200 to arrive) to last me up till graduation.
By which time hopefully I'd be able to get the 5d, or maybe 5dmkII.
Nyahahah!
So yeah, been quite a hectic 10 days or so.
Going out so often I feel sick. Hahaha.
On Tuesday Arthur, KM and I met up with Samantha.
Talked about something to do with our cameras.
And went to two places in One Utama to shoot.
Unfortunately the photos were all taken by her.
But that wasn't the end of it.
Oh no.
The next day, we met up again at the Curve, for more camera action.
This time we got to keep a copy of the photos.
Hahaha.
Some cool changing room things.
And while we were there, she pulled this one.
Wanted to try out zoom blur at one of the shops.
Not as easy as I thought it would be.
Same lights, different treatment.
Product photography, anyone?
And a shot of a coffee shop
Then I didn't do much, except going out with Kin Meng to KL to buy and sell something.
The next day (today Friday 26th) we celebrated Anne's birthday.
With the new toys, needless to say Arthur and I were pretty trigger happy.
Birthday Girl
Him and Her
Group shot of the first group to finish their Law presentation amongst us.
And Kirsten. First time having lunch with her. Haha
Well that's all for now.
Tomorrow I'll post up some stuff about my camera.
Hehehe ;D

Yeah these things take forever, and I especially am slow

One Dream, One Soul, One Prize, One Goal
One Golden Glance of What Should Be.
It's a Kind of Magic.
It's a Kind of Magic.
An update has been long overdue, but truth be told nothing much happened.
Oh before going any further, I remember promising pictures of the house lit up at night.
So yeah, here.
And the day before raya I headed over to my grandparent's house to check up on them.
Actually I just tagged along with my dad.
They have lights too!
And while walking around the compound, I couldn't help myself.
So yeah.
Raya this year was way better than expected, and I had quite some fun this time, compared to last year.
Same basic hoo haa on the first day, went to my grandparent's house after the Raya prayers.
But Before going out, took some pictures.
Though we totally forgot about our own family picture.
Hahaha. First time.
Lisa and my Mum
Dad and Mum
Then we ate, chat, ate, chat, and took pictures.
Yeah that's the first day.
Then second day I stayed home while my parents and sister went to Melaka and the southern states to visit some relatives.
Then "third" day had some guests over.
Some relatives, and friends.
Though I only ajak-ed a few friends (Kinz, Simon, Patrick), mostly because I didn't really feel like entertaining a lot of people.
Haha. Yeah, meanie, I know.
Taken by Pat. And crap, I notice the distortion at the edges. Haha. Daymn.
So basically that was it, visits and food, though I didn't do the visiting.
Then yesterday went out to Arthur's place to celebrate Jovie's birthday.
Happy Birthday!
Sorry I didn't get you anything. :|
Taken by Arthur with my cam, I was too busy playing games. Haha.
Bimbo Posse, anyone?
Actually the pic shows how much I need a proper flash that can Tilt and Swivel.
Haha. Maybe then there wouldn't be obvious um.. oilyness..
And a couple of random photos.
Had my 70-200 on and was playing around, and Lisa was just sitting there.
So yeah.
Not as sharp as I would like, but then it was more of a quick snap than a planned pose shot.
And here's Grubbs. Also with the 70-200. And Flash.
Woooo that should be enough to last at least a month eh?
Hahaha. :D

He Had Underlined in Red
Every Single I Love You
Last week of puasa has been pretty normal.
Wednesday:
I went out to KLCC on Wednesday for a meeting and a movie.
Met up with Mel, Jas, KM, Tsoon Kit and Ray.
Caught Hairspray with Mel and Jas.
Enjoyed it quite a bit, though I think the last scene of the movie was a tad too long.
But hey I wouldn't mind watching it again.
;)
After that I joined the family and had a steamboat dinner to celebrate my Dad's birthday.
Happy Birthday! :D
Then we headed to Coffee Bean for some dessert.
And then Kinz called me and ajak pergi keluar lepak kejap.
Went out with him and Patrick to Pelita.
And so on that night I was actually really stuffed. Food almost non-stop.
And I think I'm developing a belly.
:(
Not! Hahahah.
Not yet anyway. :P
Thursday:
Passed pretty uneventfully save for the night.
Went out with Sam, KM and Arthur, first to have some supper / late dinner.
Then we headed over to Blitzone for some gaming.
Oh it's been a while.
Had fun playing Warcraft.
And I ate quite a bit again. Argh.
Friday:
Today, I was helping with the dining chairs.
They needed new clothes.
So after Subuh, I went down to nail the cushions and screw the chairs.
And it was pretty hard to do when they were in their clothes.
Hahahaha.
Had quite some fun, and oh so many sexual innuendos.
And just now I went out to take some photos of the house.
And will do so again tonight, so watch out for the update.
And then it rained. Bah.
Which is why I'm blogging.
Laterrr

Je Veux Juste Une Dernière Danse
Before darkness, and indifference.
Gist:
It has been a week of crazy spending for me.
On Thursday I went to One Utama with some college friends during a 3 hour break in between classes.
And I spent quite a bit on a couple of books, a couple of shirts, and a pair of shorts.
Then on Friday I went to KL, with almost the same bunch of friends, and I got myself a tripod and a remote shutter release.
Fuh Fuh.
The pain on my wallet. Tis unbearable.
Haha. But it was satisfying!
Friday
I didn't bring my camera with me on Thursday, and there wasn't much happening anyway, so I don't really have anything to tell.
But Friday is a different story.
Day started out pretty okay, class at 8.
Was pretty fun, worked with Arthur and Tsoon Kit on some Law exercise.
I bungled a little in the spelling department when Kit asked me how to spell malicious.
Instead of the M-A-L . . . I went M-E- . . .
Wtf. Hahah. Too much Meliciousness I guess.
Then at around 3.30 or so Arthur came with Jas to pick me up, and we headed to KL with a bunch of other friends.
We planned to head to a few camera shops to check out prices, and also because I wanted a tripod, Wykit wanted a Canon S5IS, and Arthur wanted a bag.
We parked at Times Square, and headed to Keat Cameras, somewhere along Jalan Pudu, if I'm not mistaken.
Something like 5 minutes walk from Times Square.
The guy there was Raymond, and he was a very nice guy to talk to, and to deal with.
And that's where I got my tripod, and Arthur got his bag.
But that was on the second trip there.
On the way back to Times Square from the first trip, we saw a whole bunch of buses heading down the road.
And by a whole bunch, I mean somewhere around 6 - 7 buses.
Wasn't fast enough to capture all of them though.
Then we headed over to Lowyat to check on the S5IS price.
Went here and there, best price was apparently RM1.5k if I remember correctly.
Later that night, after having dinner / berbuka at KFC somewhere near Bintang Walk (?), we headed over to the Pavilion.
Was a pretty cool looking place, with some nice shops.
Just walked around, didn't buy anything.
They even had this small group playing nice instrumental music.
And some of us wanted to have our picture taken at the steps leading to what I think is the centre of the place.
Aih.
After that we headed back, but not without some pit-stops, me for some Coffee Bean and Jasmine for some waffle-ice cream-thing.
In the end, I reached home at about 12.30.
Saturday, and Today
Are two very boring days.
Spent the morning of Saturday helping out with some cleaning, the afternoon sleeping, and the night watching football.
Boring! But I needed the rest, I guess.
Been going out like crazy this past week, so yeah.
And then today, I felt like it was going to be another boring day.
So I got my tripod out and decided to play around with my camera.
But not before learning of something quite funny.
Another tire on the Getz was punctured.
Haha. That's the third tire from the same car.
My dad was like, maybe the car is cursed. Have to get a new one.
Hahahaha. What in the world eh.
Anyway, I had to help jack the car up so that he could change the tire, and that was the third time I was jacking up the car.
Me jacking up the car.
Haha. Sempat ambik gambar lagi tuh.
Power eh?
My dad giving the tire the "WTF" look
With and without the spare / emergency tire.
Ah, but that's not the end yet.
Remember how I said earlier in the post that I had some fun with my camera?
Well I was experimenting with the tripod and some exposures.
Hahaha.
Hero hindustan.
Hahahaha
And some experimental shots.
Must say that it was pretty fun playing around like this.
I feel like doing it again, but am prety lazy at the moment.
Plus, it is sooooooooo hot outside now.
Bah!
:D

And It Might Seem Much Too Far, To Get Back To Where You Are
But it's close enough, with an ocean size love
So if you can't reach out to me, send a sign across the sea
And I'll pick it up, with an ocean size love.
It's been a while, eh?
Well this past week I've been sort of busy with a few things.
First, the Creative Strategy assignment : Come up with a PSA and also a Strategy Statement.
Nothing too hard.
My PSA:
Yeah, it's not all that.
Hahaha. I don't really like the last three fingers.
Meh.
On Tuesday I went over to Sam's place to help Mel take pictures for her PSA.
But before that, in college, I snapped this.
Oh, and she ended up using this photo :
Of course, with some mods.
Then on Wednesday I went out with Kinz and Patrick to KLCC.
We snapped some pictures, and I had my berbuka meal there.
Oh, one thing about the park that I sort of didn't like.
The freaking guards are so damn sensitive.
And they really love to blow.
Their whistles.
Hahaha. Bitches.
And then, we decided to do some jumps.
Yeah, smack dab in the middle of the park, in plain sight of everyone.
Three teenage boys going crazy with cameras and jumping.
Hahah
And also a lying-on-grass shot, inspired by the Canon Teen Expression contest.
But I know better.
I know kinz just loves the feel of the grass on his.. um..
Yeah.
My pictures?
Well, coming soon.
I hope.
And then, my batteries died.
Guess I shouldn't have left them uncharged for about 4 days.
Even with continuous use.
And the last picture for this post.
Heeee!
:D
