One More Time
Spent some money. Again.
Gosh this is getting out of control.
Just like when I first got into shoes.
So yeah I bought myself a battery grip for my camera.
Lets me use both batteries at once, doubling my battery life.
Makes shooting in portrait orientation pretty easy.
But boy does it add weight.
Holding it one-handed with the Sigma on, it felt pretty hefty.
With the 70-200 on, lebih kurang sama, since I guess they're about the same weight.
That's what it looks like with the grip attached.
Macam ganas jer.
A Fly and a Spider
Was pretty bored and decided to walk around in the garden a little.
Fly
Spotted a fly on the clothes-line and decided to try to take a couple of shots.
I think the fly was either stoned or stupid or something, as I could literally put my lens right up next to it and take a shot.
Sure it flew around a little, but it always settled pretty fast, and didn't mind being photographed at all.
Actually spent like, 30 odd shots on this little fella.
But only 1 turned out sharp, detailed and nice enough for me.
Bah! Must practice more.
Spider
After I got bored of the fly, I looked around to see what other unfortunate little critter might be the next target for my camera.
Looked at one of the pots and saw a spider jumping about.
So I went down on my knees and tried to shoot it.
I say try, because it was jumping here and there like a monkey on steroids.
Couldn't stay still.
Eventually I chased it up the wall and managed to get the bugger to stay still for a few shots.
Again, only one out of 20 odd shots turned out sharp, detailed and nice enough for me.
Another bah!
So yeah, that's it for now. Might head to the park down the road later if the weather is nice.
Plenty of photographic opportunities there.
:D
