DeviantART Status
My DeviantART is bursting into life!
Whoosaaa!
One of my photos got featured as a Daily Deviation, and so it was put on the front page of the site.
Front page babeh!
And overnight my pageviews jumped, from 1000 + to this.
And do bear in mind that it took me nearly 6 months to reach 1000 pageviews in DeviantART.
And now.
I shall leave this place for a bit.
Exams are a'calling!

Hooray, Hooray, I'm Your Silver Lining
But Now, I'm Gold
Today was the last day of normal college life for this semester.
Next week, the exams begin! Woohaaa!
We managed to get all the assignments done, albeit with a wee bit more stress than we would've liked.
But in the end we managed pretty well, and we did pretty good.
Photography and Me
This semester was really a tiring one, but I had fun.
Yeah, the assignments were somewhat stressful, but when I see the end result, I feel satisfied.
Specially the visuals.
*Though this may be because I had a hand in most of the visuals. :P
So yeah, for Creative Strategy, we had to do 2 Print PSAs for Child Abuse.
I came up with these:
The first one, I must give thanks to Adele for allowing me to use her sister's photograph.
The second one, meh I didn't really like it, and it was a somewhat rush-job.
*They're both clickable though.
And for Advertising, we had to come up with 3 Print Ads and 3 Logos.
I came up with:
And the others came up with amazing adverts and logos as well.
Plus our lecturer liked our presentation. Yay!
And during the course of doing our Advertisement assignment, we managed to go sight-seeing for a bit.
Actually it was because our Advertisement assignment involved advertising Kuala Lumpur.
So yeah.
Went to KL the other day (Jas, Mel, Sam, KM, Jack, and I), thinking to snap some Tugu Negara pictures, but the weather was bad.
And we ended up at KLCC to have dinner and also a few pictures.
And then we went to Ampang to have a looksie at this place which has a pretty awesome view.
The next day, we (Mel, Sam and I) tried again.
This time we managed to get the Tugu Negara.
And after that we decided to head over to KLCC again, but this time to visit Aquaria.
And thank you Melissa Chen for the Aquaria experience. ;)
Yes, it's a giant squirrel.
What the hell is it doing in Aquaria is beyond me.
And some fish shots.
Yeah, that's it.
We managed to go through 5 assignments and 4 presentations in the space of two weeks.
A BIG Thank You goes to Sam for ferrying us around KL for CS and Advertising.
So now, preparations for examinations!

That Blade Sure Looks Pretty Inviting...
Okay first of I promise I won't end this entry with a sad, morbid note / tone.
Did a piece on this for DevART some time back.
Title was " :When Lonely, Use Me: "
Now there's this guy, okay.
He's not lonely. Oh no, far from it.
He has loads of really great friends.
He's not really left in wanting any materialistic possessions either.
He has stuff that some might dream of.
He may have some physical problems such as his weight, height and skin.
But he can handle them pretty okay, but it took a while to get used to.
He's not that bad in sports and his studies.
He can maintain an above average 3.75 cgpa, and is pretty interested in sports, i.e. running and futsal.
His emotional and mental state, though pretty unstable, can still be managed.
He gets happy, sad, jealous, proud and whatnot at the smallest of things, but he rarely lets it show. He can keep it inside, and paste on a face, though at times it is hard for him to do so.
So. Question is, why does he feel that his life has suddenly taken the turn for the worst in the past week or so?
And lately it's been getting even worse.
Bad, Worse, Worst.
Took a pretty brief mention of something to totally change his mood for an entire 6 hours yesterday.
Yeah the mention was unintentional, probably, but hey ho it sill did it.
Maybe he deserves what he's getting, for having done something bad previously.
Maybe he's just an idiot who just seems to have a negative outlook on his life.
Maybe nothing is wrong, and he just wants to find fault in anything.
Maybe all good things come to an end, and this is the coming of an ending.
(Though I wouldn't necessarily describe him as "good" per se)

Arthur's birthday is Today.
So, Happy birthday!
And yesterday we had some small "surprise" for him at college.
Waaheyyy!
Naturally, for a birthday celebration, we require the celebrated to pick candles out of the cake.
Some people tend to take advantage of this situation.
And when this happens, there's always a good chance of...
But in the end, it's all smiles and laughter.

How Much Is Too Much? Because Seriously...
I believe in the phrase "Too much of a good thing is bad"
But when exactly is it too much?
Recently I've been having to deal with a lot of things.
Assignments, life, and no my life is not all La-di-da.
More like La-di-da-di-bloody-fucking-da!
Expectations and so much more.
Weighing me down.
The only time I feel like myself nowadays is in college.
I guess it's because I can escape form my life.
College life, mostly routine, rarely anything that I can't put up with.
So yeah, too much?
Well I guess it's nearing the point of too much.
It's not the assignments. Those, I can deal with pretty easily.
It's the other aspect of life.
Sometimes I feel just so sick of it.
People expect me to be something, to do something, to have this ability and yada-fucking-yada.
And when I don't fit that criteria, or that I can't do that particular something, oh boo hoo I'm now the bad guy.
Gosh it's getting too much.
Too Nice?
Maybe I have been too nice.
I tolerate people. I take care of other people's feelings.
I don't like to hurt people if I can help it.
To put it in a blunt term, I guess I'm such a pussy in that sense.
Take last Saturday for example.
Arthur and I went to photograph a paintball competition.
We arrived at the venue at 8 am.
Yes, that early. Means I had to wake up at 7 on a Saturday, drive to Arthur's house, and then both of us had to go to the place.
When we arrived, the person in charge of us wasn't there.
So okay, fine, we waited.
After about half-an-hour of waiting, we decided to give the person a call.
We both called. I'm thinking there must be something like, what, 30 calls that we made.
No answer. Okay fine.
I was getting sort of pissy, and so was Arthur.
We were discussing about what to say to the person.
All sorts of things came out.
Oh and in the end, the person was a no-show, and we waited for 4 hours for nothing.
Well, we managed to get some photographs.
But the whole thing was blown.
When the person eventually contacted me, apologizing profusely about not turning up thanks to something or another, I couldn't bring myself to scold that person.
I just couldn't be angry when it mattered most.
Now what happened on Saturday isn't the cause of this outburst.
It does show how significant it happens to be though, that it does affect me somehow.
So yeah.
Fucking hell, maybe that's my problem.
I put up with people.
And I guess I've been putting up with much more than I could take.
Yeah it's going to blow someday.
Maybe this post will actually help ease the pressure a little bit.
Because I need to vent some things out.
And then tomorrow, I will go about my life like normal.
Can't wait for class. Familiarity, comfort.
And hey so what if I don't really like the lecture, or if I have to wake up in time for the 8 o'clock class.
I can at least get away from life for a little bit.
Maybe one day I can get away forever.

Ku Mencintai Mu, Lebih Dari Apa Pun..
Meskipun tiada satu orang pun yang tahu
So yeah here's a proper update.
The other side of Eman's life.
Recently been busy with my assignments. Again.
It's taking it's toll on me. I'm like, going nuts.
Stress, lack of sleep, more stress, work, more work, expectations to be met.
Urghh.
All those mentioned, and more goes into my head as well.
The more the stress, the more I go.. silent.
Guess I think more. Some, important stuff, some, not so important stuff.
But stuff, nonetheless, that distracts.
So anyway. Gloomy stuff out of the way.
My college recently had an event, which was about art.
Speaking of art, here's Arthur.
He took my photo (above), I took his.
And both of us.
Woohoo gaya giler! :D
Canvas. The evolution of Malaysian art.
Ash Nair was there to perform his song Crazy.
Along with his Canadian DJ friend.
And Karen, Mel, Jasmine and Kevin with Aishah Sinclair.
They did it for the PR class.
Was only there for the first day, so yeah a few pics only.
Then I've been going out to take photos for Samantha.
Some futsal.
And we did quite a few product / location shots as well.
Yeah, and going to take more pictures on Saturday and Sunday.
Hopefully after that I can concentrate on my studies.
Law presentation was okay.
We got 8/10, which is fairly good, I guess.
Thought we could've gotten a little bit more, but hey ho.
And I managed to get 4.5 / 5 for the QnA part.
Yay! :D
The Law Group.
Guess who's the leader. Hahaha.
Bithcy much.
Owhh baby.
Yeah, it wasn't as hard as we thought it would be.
Managed to get trhough everything pretty okay.
So, good luck to the ones doing Trademarks!

Signing Off "I’m Alright In Bed but I’m Better With a Pen"
Tomorrow, or more accurately, today, in about 12 hours, is my group's turn to present our Law case.
Wowee am I excited. And nervous.
But glad it's all going to be over soon.
Not going to say much, since I want to get back to work.
So I'll post some photos.
Macro photography is something that I believe I will enjoy immensely in the future.
